Why do I see a warning about an empty secret key or site key and possible loss of the ability to log into the dashboard?

This message appears if one of the fields on the plugin settings page (site key, secret key) is empty or both fields are empty.
In this case, reCAPTCHA will not work properly and will block access to the site.
To prevent this error – generate and fill in the fields with appropriate keys -
Why do I see a warning after changing the version of reCAPTCHA?

Since reCAPTCHA v2 and reCAPTCHA v3 require different API keys,
using wrong keys can cause the plugin to work incorrectly and block access to WordPress dashboard. -
The plugin blocks access to the WordPress admin dashboard. What should I do?

- Please connect to your server via FTP (using any convenient FTP client, FileZilla for example).
- Navigate to your sites root directory.
- Navigate to the /wp-content/plugins directory.
- Find and rename sargas-recaptcha folder to something like _sargas-recaptcha.
- The plugin is now deactivated, and you can access the dashboard.
